Özet (TR)

Aim: To investigate the change in NRF2 (Nuclear Factor Erythroid-2), which plays a critical role in protecting against oxidative stress in cases diagnosed with perinatal asphyxia; The aim is to investigate the relationship of parts of the NRF2 change with the TAU protein, which is an objective indicator of injury. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted in the Tertiary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a total of 80 cases, 50 patients and 30 control groups. To investigate NRF2, TAS-TOS (Total Antioxidant Level-Total Oxidative Level) and TAU levels, 2 cc blood samples were taken from the cases within the first 6 hours after birth, centrifuged and stored at -80°C until the study. NRF2, TAS-TOS, TAU levels were studied using the ELlSA (Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay) kit. The data obtained was analyzed using SPSS 26 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program. Results: To work; A total of 80 cases, 50 patients and 30 control groups, were included. 62.5% of the cases participating in the study were in the patient group and 37.5% were in the control group. There was no significant difference between the groups in terms of gender (p>0.05). There was no significant difference between the groups in terms of week of birth (p>0.05). There was no significant difference between the groups in terms of birth weight (p>0.05). TOS, OSI and TAU levels of the patient group were significantly higher than those of the control group (p<0.01); NRF 2 and TAS levels were found to be significantly lower than the control group (p<0.01). A statistically significant positive (as NRF 2 increases; TAS increases) statistically significant relationship was detected between the NRF 2 measurements and TAS measurement values of the cases (r=0.270; p=0.016; p<0.05). A statistically significant negative relationship was detected between the TAU measurements and TAS measurement values of the cases (as TAS decreases; TAU increases) (r=-0.225; p=0.045; p<0.05). One unit decrease in TAS measurements; It increases the TAU level by 27.792 times (95% CI: -54.912/-0.672). TAS is an independent risk factor on TAU level. A statistically significant negative relationship (as NRF 2 decreases; TAU increases) was detected between the NRF 2 measurements and TAU measurement values of the cases (r=-0.321; p=0.004; p<0.01). A one-unit decrease in NRF 2 measurements increases the TAU level by 11,758 times (95% CI: -19,578/-3,937). NRF 2 variable is an independent risk factor on TAU level. Conclusion: In cases of perinatal asphyxia, hypoxia impairs the function of the cell nucleus and causes tissue and cell damage by causing a decrease in the TAS level secondary to a decrease in the NRF2 level and an increase in the TOS level. We detected an increase in the level of TAU protein, which is one of the important indicators of tissue and cell damage.
