Abstract (EN)
In the first two parts of this research, in which the relationship between organizational innovation and empowerment perceptions of the employees working in hotel businesses were intended to be determined and laid down, the theoretical background of the general concepts were investigated. In this section, the third part of the study, results obtained by analysis of the data are interpreted. The activity in question has been carried out on four and five star hotel employees operating in Istanbul by using the survey technique. The survey applied on participants consists of three parts. In the first part of the survey, statements aiming to determine the participants' individual characteristics (gender, age, educational level and department) are involved. In the second part, statements are involved belonging to the empowerment scale aiming to measure the perception of the employee empowerment which is applied in hotel businesses on the staff. In the third chapter, the last part of the survey, statements for the determination of levels of organizational innovation are involved. Within this study, while the demographic characteristics of the study participants are considered as independent variables, employee empowerment and organizational innovation variables, which constitute the main subject of the study, are considered as the dependent variables of the research. Within the scope of the subject of the research, the staff in four and five star hotels operating in Turkey constitutes the universe of research. However, due to limitations in terms of both cost and time to reach employees in every hotel business, convenience sampling method has been applied. With this method, 786 employees working in a total number of 22 four and five star hotels operating in İstanbul constitute the sample of the research. In accordance with the findings obtained from the results of the analysis, conclusions supporting the hypothesis research were reached in general.
