Abstract (EN)

The purpose of thesis study is to determine the effect of employee empowerment applications on the job performances of employees. In accordance with this purpose, psychological and behavioral empowerment dimensions that form employee empowerment applications were considered together and the effect of employees on the job performances was examined. The thesis study, consists of theory and practice sections. In theory sections, the concepts of employee empowerment and job performance are discussed in detail. If the application section, a research was conducted on 268 bank employees serving in private and public banks operating in the central district of Elazig province directed to measure the effect of employee empowerment applications on the job performances of employees. As a result of the research, it was determined that psychological and behavioral empowerment applications have positive direction and very high level effect on the job performances of the employees. Furthermore, the effect of the employee empowerment applications considered together the psychological and behavioral empowerment dimensions, on the job performances of the employees was realized at higher level than in proportion to its sub-dimensions.
