Abstract (EN)

Changing conditions such as the development in technology, increasing competition and globalization have increased the importance of the human factor in organizations. Regardless of these developments, different approaches have emerged in human resources management. Staff empowerment and organizational commitment are among these approaches. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of employee empowerment on organizational commitment. The study consists of 4 parts. In the first and second sections, conceptual information about the concepts of personnel empowerment and organizational commitment are given, respectively. In the third chapter, the relationship between the two concepts is examined. In the fourth chapter, there is the research. Our study was applied to all employees of a non-governmental organization. A scale for socio-demographic data and separate scales for staff empowerment and organizational commitment were used in the survey. The analysis of the data was made in the SPSS package program. Mann Whitney U Analysis, Spearman's Rho Correlation Analysis and Independent Sample T test were used in the evaluation of the available data in line with the hypotheses made and Cronbach's Alpha values of the data were examined. In accordance with the findings obtained as a result of the analyzes, the effect of empowering the personnel on organizational commitment was explained and suggestions were made.
