To make profitable use of PET wastes in industry

Increasing environmental issues and economic necessities have made it mandatory to have the wastes recycled and the related technology to be well developed. The wastes that can be recycled are to be used to product subsidiary products instead of being taken to the storages, in this way it reduces the industry?s raw material needs and contributes to the economy. Since the thermoplastic based polymers are usually suitable for recycling, they can reduce our dependence on the limited resources. The increasing usage of plastic materials made it necessary to examine the PET wastes recycling issue to be deeply analyzed in these studies. The collection of PETs, the stage where they are separated from each other and the main factors that affect the recycling process of PETs, are analyzed in detail. Also, PVC, which affects the recycling process of PETs negatively, have been displayed, some chemical elements that have PET and PVC mixtures have been tried to decomposed in laboratory conditions by being used electrostatic process.
