Abstract (EN)

In this study, methanol, and water extracts obtained from Phellinus igniarius (L.) Quél and Phellinus torulosus (Pers.) Bourdot & Galzin, species were evaluated comparatively for their antioxidant and prooxidant activities on the membrane of epidermoid carcinoma (A431) cells and healthy fibroblast (Bj) cells. The prooxidant (cytotoxic) effect of P. igniarius and P. torulosus extracts on A431 and Bj cell lines was defined by MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) test. In order to demonstrate the antioxidant effect of our extracts, the cells were exposed to H2O2 (IC50 and IC70), a strong oxidizing, for 24 hours after the pretreatment with extracts at different concentrations, (
