The increasing population of the world brought about health problems. In today's world, rapid development and advancements in science and technology have necessitated the multi-purpose use of natural resources. On the other hand, in the fight against infectious diseases, natural and synthetic antibiotics developed so far, the ineffectiveness of antibiotics as a result of the resistance of the drums and the presence of various side effects, experts have directed to research organic herbal antibiotics. Date palm, rich in energy, vitamins and minerals, is a food product with high nutritional value. It is said to contain vitamins A, B1, B2 and niacin, is a good source of potassium, calcium and magnesium, and contains some copper, sulfur and phosphorus. In addition, studies on palm have shown that palm fruit has high antioxidant capacity. In the light of all this information, it is very important to determine the antioxidant activity, antimicrobial activity, DNA protective activity and MTT potential of such a potential fruit. For this purpose, antioxidant, antimicrobial, MTT and DNA protective activities of methanol and water extracts of palm fruits were studied. As a result of the study, it was determined that the palm and methanol extracts had high antioxidant and DNA protective activity. In addition, MTT counts showed no stotoxic effect on HUVEC cells. As a result of the antimcrobial activity study, it was determined that the extracts of palm fruit showed no bacteriocidal effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 700603, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia.
