Özet (EN)
In this study, the effects of goldenberry (AÇ) and flaxseed (KT) extracts on liver, kidney, brain, muscle tissues and erythrocyte of Sprague-Dawley rats' (male) which were oxidative stressed by toluene, carbontetrachloride and methylalcohol on lipid peroxidation (LPO) in reduced glutathione (GSH), fatty acid and lipophilic vitamins were investigated. The study, the rats were divided into 10 groups as Toluene, Toluene+AÇ, Toluene+KT, CCl4, CCl4,+AÇ, CCl4,+KT, Methylalcohol, Methylalcohol+AÇ, Methylalcohol+KT. Toluene, CCl4 and methylalcohol were given by intraperitoneal injection. Two weeks after the injection, AÇ and KT extracts which were prepared with methylalcohol and hexanisopropanol mixture were given by intraperitoneal injection for two months. Meanwhile, during this process, by pulverizing AÇ and KT and adding at 2g/L level to rats' drinking water, they were ensured to get it. From the beginning till the end of the study, weights of the rats were measured weekly. At the end of the experiment, in the light of ethics procedure, the rats were decapitated, their tissues were collected and kept at -70 ?C until analysis. After homogenization of the tissue samples, the levels of MDA, GSH, lipophilic vitamins, cholesterol and fatty acid were measured. It was observed that in all the groups under the application of toxic substance, as to the control groups, LPO level had significant increase; however, it was low in other groups and the level of GSH decreased. In the AÇ and KT groups, lower levels of LPO and higher levels of GSH were detected. It was determined that palmitic, stearic and arachidonic acid level in the liver and brain tissues of rats on which toluen and CCl4 were applied showed a notable decrease as to the control groups. It was detected that the level of palmitic, stearic, oleic, docosahexaenoic and arachidonic acid level in kidney and brain tissues on which goldenberry and flaxseed extracts were applied was detected higher as to the control groups. In the vitamin and cholesterol levels on the liver and brain tissues of the groups to which toxic substance was applied, notable decreases were observed. The vitamin levels in the tissues extracted from the groups that were applied AÇ and KT were observed to be closer to the levels of the control group compared to the toxic substance applied ones. It was found that AÇ and KT decrease the cholesterol level in liver, brain and kidney tissues. Key Words: Malondialdehide, Goldenberry, Flaxseed, Toluene, Methylalcohol, Carbontetrachloride, Glutathione (GSH), Cholesterol, Fatty acid, lipophilic vitamins.
