Production of pizoelectric polybenzoxazol fibers, characterization and application in electrical circuit

Nanofibrous piezoelectric materials were produced in this study. The solution of polybenzoxazole (PBO) with hydroxamoyl chloride was prepared with sol-gel method by using PBO, PVDF, and Graphene. The nanofibrous material was obtained from the produced solution by electro-spin method. The characterization of piezoelectric material was examined on XRD and FTIR. The mean radius of fibers was calculated on SEM analysis. During TGA and DSC analysis, showed that four different PBO (poly-p-phenylene benzobisoxazole) types were added on fibers. These are P-D (Poly[2,2'-(p,p'-diphenylene-5,5'-bis(benzoxazole)]), P-E (Poly[2,2'-(p,p'-diphenylether)-5,5'-bis(benzoxazole)]), P-S (Poly[2,2'-(p,p'-diphenyldisulfide)-5,5'-bis(benzoxazole)]), P-T (Poly[2,2'-(p-phenylene)-5,5'-bis(benzoxazole)]). The addition of PBO increased the thermal resistance by 20oC. The surface morphology was examined on AFM analysis. The electricity production was obtained without pressing and electrical polarization processes on fibers. According to the oscilloscope measurements, electric production was measured as 60 V and 9.68 V on piezoelectric materials, which have 0.02 mm and 0.06 mm thickness, respectively. An electric circuit was designed to light the LED by using the produced electricity.
