Özet (EN)
The aim of this study was to investigate the acute effects of different warm-up protocols on alpha and beta activity, attention level and heart rate (HR) values. Twenty women participated in this study (age: 29,90±3,38; height: 165,10±6,76 cm; body mass: 57,55±6,29 kg; body fat ratio: %21,02±1,93). The sample was formed by criterion sampling, one of the purposive sampling methods. Participants were divided into two groups according to their status doing Pilates (WG) and not doing Pilates (CG). Measurement were taken in the same order on 5 different days; before and after control (C), static warm-up (SWU), dynamic warm-up (DWU), dynamic warm-up after static warm-up (SWU+DWU) and static warm-up after dynamic warm-up (DWU+SWU) trials. In the study; State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale, Wender-Utah Rating Scale, Morning-Evening Scale, Polar H10 to determine HR, Neurosky MindWave Mobile 2 device and NeuroExperimenter software were used to evaluate brain activation. According to results; alpha mean power values, 5th minute (min) and 10th min after warm-up in both groups in SWU trial, 10th min after warm-up in WG and 5th min after warm-up in CG in DWU trial, 10th min after the warm-up in CG in SWU+DWU trial, showed a statistically significant increase compared the immediately after warm-up. HR values, immediately after warm-up, 5th and 10th min after warm-up in both groups in DWU trial, immediately after warm-up in CG in SWU+DWU trial, immediately after warm-up in both groups in DWU+SWU trial, showed a statistically significant increase compared the pre-test (p<0.05). As a result; it can be emphasized that may be appropriate to prepare warm-up protocols specific to athletes by determining which warm-up protocol should be applied before the competition according to the characteristichs of the individual with EEG measurements. Key Words: alpha, beta, attention, EEG, warm-up
