Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of low temperature on sex ratio of adults emerged from pupae that are parasitized by Pimpla turionellae that are storing at low temperature (+4 °C) for various periods ( 1,3,7 days) is investigated. There was a decrease in total adult emergence of pupae that are exposed to low temperature though there was an increase in total male emergence ratio compared to control group. There was no deformation seen in the obtained adults. In conclusion, this showed that it is possible to store parasitized pupae of Pimpla turionellae at +4°C up to 1 weak and this will contribute biological control in mass rearing programs.
