Abstract (EN)
The text, which is considered as figurative analysis on the functioning of the brain in the plastic arts, is based on the multidisciplinary approach in art, interrogation of past-present association, and the discussion and foundation of it through personal ceramic bust applications. The problem situation of the research and the art making action that constitutes the research are examined on the basis of the "brain's function". Within the scope of "brain diseases-art (production) relation", brain plasticity and brain functions have been included in the reflection of the neurological and / or psychiatric diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder to the art of painting and ceramics. In the section related to the application that constitutes the essence of the work, the introduction and scope of the topic are made based on psychobiographies of some of the artists and authors of the 19th and 20th centuries, some of whom are schizophrenia or with autism spectrum disorder and/or who are thought so. Because of the lack of exact findings on the events of the artists and writers on the scientific scale, explanations were made in the context of the psychoanalytic approach, and busts shaped like this were formed with the understanding of figurative analysis in this direction. In this contextual context, the meanings ascribed to the artists are transferred to the application visuals. The busts produced in the classical sense are in fact indicative of making contemporary art with classical form and artistic understanding. Thus, they also bring the parallels and contradictions between the past and present to the agenda. At the same time, the text consists of a description of the ceramic production process in bust applications, the subject of psychoanalytic processes, the interpretation of the intellectual movement experienced in making invisible visible with the plastic language in an artistic sense. Key Words: Art, Plastic Arts, Ceramics, Potrait-Bust, Brain, Psychoanalytic Approach, Pyschobiography.
