Özet (EN)

Numerical methods used for the solution of electromagnetic problems have been studied by scientists for approximately fifty years. The difficulties of the experimental models created by scientists lead to the realization of solutions in computer environment by numerical methods. Numerical methods have become widespread with the development of computer technologies. One of the numerical methods used in the field of electromagnetics is the finite difference time domain method (FDTD). In this thesis, the far field characteristic of plasma antenna is investigated in terms of radiation pattern and S11 parameter. The internal structure of the antenna is formed by filling the plasma material. In an imaginary closed area formed at a certain point outside the plasma antenna, currents are obtained by surface currents method. Then, the near field-far field transformation is performed by using FFT method. The antenna parameters in the far field of the plasma antenna have been evaluated using three dimensional FDTD. For simulations C++ and MATLAB programming environments are used.
