PLC andSCADA Systems are the most common used automation system. In industry allsectors use automation. So work speed, quality and products are increase andindustrial accidents and product errors decrease. Thus PLC and SCADASystems are the most preferable way in all sectors of industry. In this work,general informations were given about PLC and SCADA systems. Alsoinformations were given about ASKI Ivedık Water Treatment Plants that hasthe system which is my project. Project side of this work, otomation of thechlorination system was done. This system has tanks there is chlorine in liquidform in it and six valves in front of these tanks. Liquid chlorine is extractedfrom the tanks via an automatic tank change-over system. This system coverscontrolling the pressures of the tanks, if the tanks are ready or not and thefaulty of the valves.
