Abstract (EN)

In the thesis, it was aimed to synthesize novel azo dyes (ABM). For this purpose, dimethyl terephthalate (DMT), p-methoxycarbonyl benzhydrazide (Compound A) and coupling component4-[(3-methyl-5-okso-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazol-1-yl) carbon-yl]benzo hydrazide (KB), which is active methylene compound, tried to be respectively synthesized. The novel coupling compound KB was tried to be prepared from its condensation with ethyl aceto acetate (EAA) and compound A. KB synthesis was tested in water and 4-methylmorpholine (4MM) media, but (Dimetil 4,4'-[hydrazine-1,2-diyldi(carbonyl)] dibenzoate) (C2) or C2 + (Metil 4-[(2-acetoacetylhydrazino) carbonyl] benzoate) (C1, which is another active methylene compound), mixture was obtained instead of KB in these works. The existence of C1 was determined by performing an azo dye (BM1) synthesis. The chemical structures of all the compounds obtained were defined by spectroscopic techniques (NMR, FTIR) and elemental analysis methods.
