Elements of popular culture as reflected in the television series the effect of the creativity of students studying fashion design at the undergraduate level

The purpose of this study, elements of popular culture as reflected in the television series to determine the effect of the creativity of students studying fashion design at the undergraduate level, private and state universities students studying fashion design ideas on this issue and to examine whether the difference between them regarding to what extent are affected.Screening method was used in this study. Data on the method, were obtained by literature review and data collection form. This research study group and the Higher Education Institutions in the province of Ankara in the fall semester 2010-2011 academic Breakthrough University Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture Department of Fashion Design and Fashion Design Department, Gazi University Faculty of Vocational Education in total 120 students are trained in fashion design. Five-grade scale was developed by the researcher to collect data for the research information collection form was used. Analysis of the data, the distribution of opinions to reflect the% f and the arithmetic average, were examined. Opinions under section four universities to determine whether there is a significant difference between the t test were used.From the research findings, students learn about popular culture, although the influence of popular culture in the not escape, the most effective tools in spreading the culture of one of the popular television series inspired by the design of their choice to make, and opinion was that they could be creative in this way.
