Abstract (EN)
In our research, the popular historical novels of Oğuz Özdeş are analysed. At the first part; for summary, some theoretical attainments on populism, popular culture and popular literature were given. At the second part, the popular historical novels of Oğuz Özdeş were analysed as part of storyline, thematic structure and formal structure. In terms of both aesthetic novels and also popular novels, the features of the analysed subject were given shortly under every titles. In this context, we try to determine in which measurement the popular historical novels of Oğuz Özdeş match these features. This study aims at detecting popular literature aspects in the historical novels of Oğuz Özdeş.
