Abstract (EN)
Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the factors (demographic characteristics, additional diseases, treatment site, drugs used in treatment, degree of radiological involvement, laboratory parameters) affecting the symptoms of Covid-19 patients who were treated as PCR positive cases, which caused them to apply to the hospital after the disease. Materials and Methods: Medical files of 570 patients who applied symptomatically to our outpatient clinic after the diagnosis of PCR positive Covid-19 between May 2020 and May 2021; Demographic characteristics, comorbidities, treatment site, drugs used in the treatment, degree of radiological involvement, laboratory parameters were examined and the factors that were predicted to affect the symptoms at admission after the disease were recorded. Results: The most common symptom of the patients who applied to us at the time of admission was tiredness-fatigue. This was followed by shortness of breath, cough, myalgia, and back-chest pain. There was no correlation between the admission day, smoking, radiological involvement and any symptoms. Advanced age, presence of hypertension and diabetes, WBC value outside the normal value range (low or high), high CRP value, and steroid use in treatment were found to be risk factorsfor tirednessfatigue. Female gender was found to be a risk factor for back-chest pain. Risk factors for myalgia were higher than 35 BMI, presence of hypertension, lymphopenia, use of antiviral therapy, and ferritin value outside the normal value (low or high). High CRP value for dyspnea, hospitalization, use of steroid, anticytokine and post-covid guideline prophylaxis, presence of asthma-COPD were found to be risk factors.High CRP value was found to be a risk factor for cough. Conclusion: The increase in the number of people infected or reinfected with the virüs increases the number of people who are post-covid symptomatic and daily life is adversely affected all over the world. For this reason, it is important to determine the factors that may affect these symptoms and more research is needed to determine the causes. Keywords: Covid-19, post covid symptom, follow-up, dyspnea, weakness-fatigue, cough, myalgia
