Abstract (EN)

The postmodernism –as a concept- firstly used in order to identify the period coming after "the modern", mostly in the field of art, literature and architecture. The socio-political and economic transformations witnessed from 1960's have led the term of postmodern to be discussed in a different and blurry epistemological framework. Still as a controversial issue, the postmodernism/postmodernity is on one hand considered as total disengagement from modernity, on the other hand as a new formation of it in which techo-culture, multiculturalism/multi-identities, irrationality and neo-capitalism related socio-economic, politic and cultural dynamics have become prominent praxis. The cultural aspects of postmodernity are surely and closely related to a transformation of media environment. This transformation can be conceptualized as a fictionalisation of a narration world (Jost, 2002) as the audience him/herself is re-identified in this semi-fictionalized positioning. In this hyper reality (as narration) the "Post-TV" claims to reflect the reality as its pure formation, but in fact, it also seems to reconstruct itself and its audience as a narration. Throughout the "format broadcasting" system constituted by this "convergence", one of the best significant example seems to emerge as "Reality-Shows", in which the classical forms of narrations worlds have turned upside down. Departing this theoretical framework, this study aims to comprehend how these reality show formats establish a relationship between its audience in this framework of narration worlds; by examining the women audiences' reception of a very popular reality-show "Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert." In order to do this, we watched and afterwards criticised some episodes of the program, broadcasted between dates November 2017 and January 2018, together with a "loyal" women audience of fifteen people via in depth interviews and small focus groups. As the main conclusions indicate, this study may provide a better understanding of the transformation of TV Broadcasting praxis from traditional to "newest" by the "eyes" of the women audiences.
