Diyabetik olgularda postür ve yürümenin postürografik olarak incelenmesi

This research has been completed in diabetic cases that consulted to Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine Internal Diseases Endocrinology Department and normal cases consulted to Neurology Polyclinic. In cases of 29 diabetics, whose motor malfunctions has not been identified clinically, that has not vestibular and visiual system retention, and whose peripheral nervous system has been evaluated with ENG, and 16 normal control, Tinetti balance and gate scores has been gotten and static posturographic records has been made in different manipulations. In terms of age and sex, comparable case groups have been constituted. Findings displayed that in normal control and generally in diabet group Tinetti balance score and postural deviation area in static posturography is different, that diabet destroys the peripheral nervous system in evaluation made by constituting inferior groups, according to the group that has not polyneuropathy findings, in cases fixed as electrophysiologic (polyneuropathy group) balance and posture disorders are more evident than and these differences are much more meaningful as statistically. In respect of balance scores, gate scores indicate less abnormality.Our data supports the idea that peripheral especially propriospiral system has an important effect on postural balance and less proportion on gate.
