Abstract (EN)
In this study, the potentiometric polyvinyl chloride (PVC) membrane iphosphamide–selective sensor was used for the determination of the drug active substance iphosphamide. Iphosphamide–sodium phosphomolybdate hydrate (IP–SPMH) and iphosphamide–phosphotungstic acid hydrate (IP–PAH) ion pairs were synthesized. Synthesized ion pairs were used as ionophores in the structure of the sensor membrane. In order to achieve membrane optimization, PVC membrane sensors were prepared in various compositions using the synthesized ion–pair. The potentiometric performance characteristics of these sensors were investigated. It was determined that the best potentiometric performance properties belonged to 4.0% (IP–SPMH) ion pair, 65.0% o–nitrophenyloctylether (o–NPOE), 31.0% Polyvinylchloride (PVC) composition. The slope of the linear working range of this sensor is between 1.0×10–6 mol/L and 1.0×10–2 mol/L and the per decade concentration change is 24.25 mV, limit of detection, 2.0×10–6 mol/L, pH operating range 7.0–9.0 and response time was set as <9 s. The prepared potentiometric iphosphamide selective sensor exhibited a highly reproducible potentiometric response. The iphosphamide content of a drug sample was determined comparatively using the high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) method and the prepared potentiometric iphosphamide–selective sensor. It has been observed that the results obtained by both methods are in good agreement.
