Özet (EN)
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of vasculer cytoplazmic adhesion molecules 1 and fibronektin in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia, so that we measured the plazma concentrations of Vascüler cytoplazmic adhesion molecules 1 and fibronectin in prepartum periodMaterials And Methods: 80 pregnant woman preeclampsia, attending to the perinatology clinics of the gynecology and obstetrics department of the medicine faculty of Çukurova University between March 1st 2008 and March 1st 2009, were taken into the study. All preeclamptic woman were hospitalized in our perinatology service. These preeclamptic patients were matched for gestational age with 80 normotansive pregnant woman. Vasculer cytoplazmic adhesion molekules 1 and Fibronectin concentrations were measured with enzyme linked immunosorbent assayResults: Preeclamptic patients demonstrated hıgher plazma concentrations of Vascüler cytoplazmic adhesion molecules 1 and Fibronektin when compared to the normotansive pregnant woman (one by one p:0,0431 and 0,0001). There was a pozitive correlation between plazma concentation of plazma fibronectin and vcam 1 levels with sistolik -diastolic blood pressure and also there was a negative correlation between the birth weight and gestastional age at delivery with sistolic and diastolic blood pressure in preeclamptic pregnanciesConclusion: We found Vascüler cytoplazmic adhesion molecules 1 and fibronektin were related to the pathogenesis of preeclampsia in our study. Incresed concentations of Vasculer cytoplazmic adhesion molecules 1 and fibronektin is associated with the endothelial dysfunction but further studies are requred to clarify their spesific roles in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia.Key words: Vasculer cytoplazmic adhesion molecules 1, Fibronectin, preeclampsia, pregnancy.
