Abstract (EN)

Evaluation of prognostic effect of sFms like tyrosine kinase-1 and biochemical parameters before and after plasmapheresis in preeclamptic pregnancies Objective: In this study, we aimed to evaluate the association of sFms like tyrosine kinase-1 and biochemical parameters, which play a role in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia, by measuring pre and post plasmapheresis levels in mild preeclampsia. Materials And Methods: Preeclamptic pregnant women who were admitted to Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic between 15.01.2006 and 01.07.2017 were included in the study.Severe preeclampsia, chronic hypertension, multiple pregnancy, systemic diseases were not included in the study.At the time of admission, blood samples were taken 6 hours after plasmapheresis and 6 hours after cesarean section, and the levels of AST, ALT, sFms like tyrosine kinase-1 were examined. At the time of admission, 6 hours after plasmapheresis and 6 hours after cesarean section, systolodiastolic blood pressure was recorded and recorded. It is cosidered statistically significant that p-value is lower than 0,05. Results: There was no significant difference between sFms like tyrosine kinase-1 levels at the time of admission, 6 hours after plasmapheresis and 6 hours after cesarean section (11 g/ml -12 g/ml-11.43 g/ml; p=0,071).AST, ALT values were found to be high in the 4 patients who were detected at the time of application, 6 hours after plasmapheresis and 6 hours after the cesarean section. The systolic and diastolic blood pressure values at the 6th hour after plasmapheresis and 6th hour after cesarean section were significant declined (P=0,001). Conclusion: In our study, we found that sFms like tyrosine kinase-1 levels did not significantly decrease after plasmapheresis. Therefore, we found that plasmapheresis did not contribute positively to prognosis in preeclampsia patients. Consequently, sFlt-1 and plasmapheresis were more advanced in order to demonstrate specific roles in pre- work is needed.
