Abstract (EN)

In this study a new pyridocarbazole derivative was tried to synthesize by using two different synthesis methods. In the first synthetic pathway D-type synthetic strategy was used. So, ethyl 4-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-9H-carbazole-3-carboxylate which was synthesized previously was used as a starting compound to construct a new precursor compound 11-methyl-2-tosyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,11,11a-octahydro-6H-pyrido[4,3-b]carbazole-5-one for the synthesis of 6H-pyrido[4,3-b]carbazole derivatives. In the second synthetic pathway B-type synthetic strategy was used. So, p-amino acetophenone was used as a starting compound to synthesize a key product aminoisoquinoline derivative for the synthesis new 6H-pyrido[4,3-b]carbazole derivatives via Japp-Klingemann reaction. So in this study we tried to synthesize two new precursor compounds for the synthesis of antitumor active pyridocarbazole derivatives via two different synthetic pathways.Synthesized compounds were purified by using column chromatography and their structures were identified by using IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic techniques. Keywords: Alkaloids, Pyridocarbazole, ellipticine, olivacine, isoquinoline.
