Abstract (EN)
There are many factors that affect the healthy construction and maintenance of romantic relationships that people experience throughout their lives. According to the development periods of university students, the series shown on mass media televisions have an important impact on their romantic relationships and marriage perceptions. Dec. In this research, the aim was determined to determine the effect of Turkish TV series on university students' perceptions of marriage as a result of a research conducted specifically in Burdur province. In the light of this determined goal, a literature search on the subject was carried out for the first time. Later, study was conducted with 401 number of university students in Burdur. As a result of the research, it has been concluded that Turkish television series affect university students' perceptions of marriage in many ways. This research is important for determining the effects of Turkish TV series on the perceptions of university students who are looking for meaning and identity, filling the gap in the literature and contributing to future studies due to the lack of a study that deals with the impact of Turkish TV series and university students on their perceptions of marriage in the studies included in the literature, and setting an example for future studies.
