Prof. Dr. Apollon Silagadze and Arabic language studies

The Georgian linguist Apolon Silagadze is an important person who works in the field of Oriental languages, Eastern sciences and sets new curricula for modern Arabic education. With the increase in the importance given to Arabic education in Georgia since the 1970s, Apolon Silagadze became one of the leading contributors to this field. Silagadze is a member of the Georgian Academy of Sciences and has produced many works in the field of orientalism and trained many students. In this study, the authors said addressing the first time in Georgia and Turkey has the distinction of being academic studies.
