Abstract (EN)

Molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) is a type of synthetic polymer with selective binding sites, or "molecular imprints," designed to recognize and interact with specific target molecules. These polymers are synthesized through a process called molecular imprinting, inspired by the concept of lock and key. The imprinting factor, which is the most important factor when performing molecular imprinting, and the effectiveness of removing the template molecule directly affect the usability of the material to be obtained. Therefore, within the scope of this project, it can be easily done in a laboratory environment. Molecularly imprinted polymer samples will be prepared that are accessible, modifiable, have high surface area as well as high surface area/weight ratio and are coated with bentonite clay as a three-dimensional structure. Thanks to these superior properties, a molecular shape memory composite material with short adsorption time, high adsorption capacity, template molecule removal and molecular shape memory will be prepared. In the preparation of shape memory composite materials, methacrylic acid (MAA) was chosen as the monomer, ethyleneglycoldimethacrylate (EGDMA) was chosen as the cross-linker, and profenofos was chosen as the template molecule (model pesticide). Imprinted bentonite can be used as a sorbent in solid phase extraction (SPE) for the extraction and quantification of profenofosun from a sample matrix. After extraction, the amount of analyte will be measured by UV Spectrophotometer. Surface characterization; The synthesized material will be characterized using techniques such as IR (infrared spectroscopy), SEM (scanning electron microscopy), XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, also known as electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (ESCA)) and SEM-EDX mapping. Adsorption isotherm, adsorption kinetics , selectivity and adsorbent dosage will be determined. Actual application will be made. Comparison of the suitability of the method will be made using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC) or LCMS (Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrophotometry).
