Practical reflections and theorotical grounds of spiritual consultation and counselling in the frame of psycho-socio-theological approaches

Spiritual consultancy and counselling started being accepted as an academic discipline in the very near past both in Turkey and in the World. The boarderlines of spiritual consultancy and counselling (SPC&Cs) and what the study fields are and what kind of relationship it will be in with mainly pyscology and theology and other disciplines is still continuing to be a current issue. As an applicable discipline spiritual consultancy and counselling bring these arguments in therotical areas as well as practical arguments such as in which establishments and in connection with which programs it will be implemented. In the western academic World SPC&C these theorotical & practical arguments have reached a certain level but in Turkey they are just being researched. The purpose of this study is to outline the framework regarding the therotical aspect of SPC&C and the applicable practical aspect of it. Our study has an introduction and 3 sections. In the introduction the framework has been outlined. In the first section a framework has been presented regarding what the SPC&C involve, the limits, the aims and objectives and the principles and as a discipline how it has occured in the West and the reflection of that in our country. In the second section therotical structure has been investigated . In that sense important parts amongst the pyscological, sociological and theological structures have been probed. In the final section of the study somevii of the practical applications compatible with the theorotical structure have been reasearched further and in the conclusion outcome has been analysed.
