Abstract (EN)
In this study, a research was conducted on the differentiator role of organizational citizenship behavior in the relationship between psychological contract and organizational performance of the employees of Non-Governmental Organizations in the education field in Istanbul. In local and international literature review carried out between psychological contract, organizational performance and organizational citizenship behavior, an example of a study that discusses the relationship between the three concepts cannot be found. Several studies that discuss these concepts in pairwise exist. Nevertheless, little to none of these studies were carried out in the scope of Non-Governmental Organization. For this reason, it is thought that the data of this research data will support other studies. Non-Governmental Organizations have limited opportunities in terms of both human and financial resources in comparison with private and public sectors. For NGOs, it is very important to realize organizational performance with scarce resource management. For this reason, it is thought that organizational citizenship behavior has a differentiating role in the increase of organizational performance with the realization of psychological contracts between employees and employers within NGOs. With the literature review, a model that shows the relationship between the differentiating role of organizational citizenship behavior in the relationship between psychological contract and organizational performance was developed. In order to test the relationships in this model, association and foundations which operate in the field of education within the confines of Istanbul Province were taken as the basis. Information about the associations was obtained from the website of the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey. Information about the foundations was reached from the website of the General Directorate of Foundations of the Republic of Turkey. The data collected was tabled with Office 365 Excel and analyzed with SPSS 20.0 software. The findings obtained as a result of the analysis, on average basis supports the binary relationships in the literature review. The study shows that organizational citizenship behavior has a differentiating role in the Relationship between Psychological Contract and Organizational Performance and the average ratio is statistically significant.
