Abstract (EN)
The concept of hemispheric asymmetry, which points to anatomical and functional differences between the right and left hemispheres of the brain, has been an important subject which has been highly interesting for many centuries and has been conducted with a wide variety of studies. Although we have a lot of information about the behavioral and cognitive specializations of hemispheres today, each study can provide more detailed and new results in this area. While the effect of prenatal testosterone level on brain lateralization has been demonstrated so far, in the observational studies performed over the last few years, prenatal testosterone level and pubertal testosterone have been associated. In this case, the level of pubertal testosterone may have an effect on lateralization. However, there are few conclusions about the effect of pubertal testosterone level on brain lateralization. We aimed to demonstrate the effect of pubertal testosterone on brain lateralization. Key words: pubertal androgens, hand dominance, eye dominance, finger length ratios and dichotic listening.
