Abstract (EN)

Glass fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) materials, which manifactured using the pultrution proces, the mass adaptation of GFRP sections as secondary and primary load bearing elements has been applied in construction. The pultrusion process became a competitive alternative to traditional structural materials. Factors in choosing GFRP materials for structural engineering applications are: lightweight, non-corrosive, chemically resistant, possess good fatigue strength, non-magnetic, and, subject to the materials selected, provide electrical and flame resistance. Currently, use of the Pultruded GFRP sections as secondary and primary load bearing elements has been applied in limited construction.In this study; Bending and compressive strength of GFRP boxes and I profiles which were produced with pultrusion method under weight impact have been analysed. In the study carried out, local breakings have been determined in the I profiles and boxes with big sections. The lowest tension to bending and also in the I profiles with big sections and have the lowest tension to pressure have been determined in the final part of the thesis alternative proposals have been offered for dealing with the negative situation which local breakings, cause.
