Abstract (EN)

Turkey and Syria are in different blocks during the Cold War. Despite the end of bipolar system relationship could not change. However, the new process, which started with the Adana Consensus, changed the perspectives of the parties. Moreover, to be the new leader Bashar Assad in Syria and new party AKP in Turkey has started new relations between Syria and Turkey. After the Arab Spring started in Tunisia, the systemic factors caused the regression of the relations between the two countries. In this case the filling of terrorist organizations by the power void that Syria has been implicated as causes affecting Turkey's national security. In this study is to examine how PYD in Syria affects the strengthening of Turkey's national security. In addition, changes made in PYD'nin Turkey-Syria relations are also within the scope of the study.
