Abstract (EN)

Earthquakes caused by fractures in the Earth's crust are a natural disaster type that leads to loss of life and property. Earthquakes also cause displacement of the ground surface. Turkey, located on the North Anatolian Fault Line, West Anatolian Fault Line, and East Anatolian Fault Line, experiences continuous ground movements. The amount of displacement caused by the earthquake in the Elâzığ Sivrice region on the East Anatolian Fault Line on January 24, 2020, was calculated using various RADAR data and Persistent Scatterer Interferometry (PSI) Analysis. The amount of displacement caused by the aftershocks in the Sivrice region following the earthquakes in Pazarcık with a magnitude of 7.7M and Elbistan with a magnitude of 7.6M on February 6, 2023, and preceding aftershocks was obtained through DInSAR analysis. As a result of the thesis study, it was concluded that PSI analysis played an effective role in monitoring the surface effects of the Sivrice earthquake and the effects of aftershocks before and after the earthquake on the surface.
