Abstract (EN)

This study focuses on the construction of radiation detectors and radiation measurements of various materials. Radiation is a form of energy emitted from natural and artificial sources and poses serious risks to human health. Therefore, accurate and effective measurement of radiation is of great importance. Radiation is widely used in both medical applications and industrial processes, which increases the need for accurate measurement and monitoring systems. The study begins with learning the basic radiation values and types required to create a radiation detector. Radiation detectors are critical devices for monitoring and measuring radiation in the environment. These detectors play an important role in nuclear power plants, medical fields, environmental monitoring systems and emergency management. Within the scope of the study, the working principles of radiation detectors, various types of detectors and the points to be considered are investigated in detail. Radiation detectors are examined together with their specific advantages and disadvantages. For example, Geiger-Müller tubes are widely used, while liquid scintillations can provide more sensitive measurements. In addition, the values of different materials on radiation were measured. These materials have different processing properties depending on their ability to absorb or transmit radiation. The study focuses on the general performance of various materials. In addition, radiation measurements of various materials used in radiation assessments are discussed. Standards used in measuring radiation are vital to providing a safe working environment. Accurate measurement of radiation is a basic requirement for the identification and control of health risks. The information provided in this study can be an important reference source for researchers and engineers interested in radiation detectors and materials. In addition, it provides a basis for innovative approaches and developments in this field and guides future research. Accurate and reliable design of radiation detectors is of great importance for both health and environmental safety. Radiation detectors also have great importance in the fields of education and research. In addition, the data and experiences obtained have the potential to form the basis for future research and aim to contribute to the development of radiation measurement systems. In this way, significant progress can be achieved in both education and research.
