Abstract (EN)
Biologically, men and women are seen as the main determinants in ensuring the continuity of society. Primary and unchanging roles are given to individuals, including women's mothers and men's fathers. From the past to the present, a number of responsibilities are installed on men and women in accordance with these roles. These roles and responsibilities attributed to technological and scientific developments, geographical conditions they live in, belief systems that have an important place in the cultural structure and the level of education of individuals vary. In the teaching and transfer of gender roles and responsibilities, family, educational institutions, the social environment and mass media today have a significant impact. With the possibilities provided by developing communication technologies, the importance of mass media in social life is increases. These tools undoubtedly play a significant role in the formation of people's view of the world and events. The widely used mass media create many stereotypes that differ from each other and offer these stereotypes to individuals in society in accordance with the characteristics of the vehicle either visually, visually or visually and visually). Studying stereotypes re-produced by common mass media will help us understand the established patterns involved in that society and what role models are offered to individuals. In traditional media such as television, magazines and newspapers, many studies have been carried out on the presentation of women in terms of gender. However, radio, one of the oldest mass media, has seen several gender-based studyes on how women are involved. In this study, the presentation of women's identity in terms of gender in radio games of TRT institution, which is the cornerstone of Turkish radio and defines itself as a public broadcasting institution, was investigated.
