Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to examine the effects of the combination of Ramadan fasting and ischemic preconditioning on body composition, urinary density and athletic performance. The research was conducted in a fully experimental research design, which is one of the quantitative research types. The study included 30 male students studying in high school with an average age of 17.53±.507. The sample was divided into 6 clustering groups as fasting-training-ischemic preconditioning (n=5), fasting-training (n=5), fasting (n=5), control (n=5), training-ischemia (n=5) and training (n=5). Ramadan fasting, anaerobic power training, blood flow restriction based ischemic preconditioning procedures were followed and body profile, urinary density, aerobic power outputs were determined in all groups through pre-post test. As a result, it caused a decrease/decrease in parameters such as body fat ratio, mesomorphic and endomorphic structure, body water ratio, total distance covered in aerobic power test in the examined sample group, while it remained ineffective in VO2max and caused an increase/increase in ectomorphic structure.
