Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study, Ramor 500 Armor Steel and AISI 304 Stainless Steel materials are combined by Plasma Arc Welding process without additional material so investigate mechanical properties and differences of microstructure. In this study, after plasma arc welding process determined mechanical properties and microstructures of specimens by using liquid penetrant test methods, tensile test methods, optic microscopy and SEM methods. Also strenght distrubiton on welding zone was determined by Vickers Hardness Test Methods. Microstructure of welding zone of specimens were analized by using SEM-EDX. Also, analized that specimen which is applying tensile test determined crack type by SEM. In this study show that Plasma Transfer Arc Welding parameters effect that quality of Ramor 500 Armor Steel and AISI 304 Stainless Steel welding process and penetration. Also if we change current value, plasma gas flow and welding speed we can change welding quality of Ramor 500 Armor Steel and AISI 304 Stainless Steel which are different type of chemical properties. Key Words: Ramor 500 Armor Steel, AISI 304 Stainless Steel, Plasma Transfer Arc Welding, Thermal Conductivity
