Abstract (EN)

In this study, the removal characteristics of Ranitidine from the class of gastric medications and Naproxen from the class of painkillers were examined by coagulation process using iron sludge, alum, and FeC13 as coagulants. These two different drugs were found to be coagulated at certain rates by each coagulant. In coagulation experiments using iron sludge, efficiencies varied from 0 to 72 %. Efficiencies were between 0 and 8 % for Ranitidine, and no efficiency was achieved for Naproxen for coagulation using alum as coagulant. Finally, in coagulation using FeC13, removal efficiencies were between 0 and 24 % for Naproxen, and between 0 and 15 % for Ranitidine.
