Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is; a-to know Rauf Orbay in detail b-to learn his life and activities c-to collect the information about him and organize them d-to bring out his importance in the foundation of the Turkish Republic and in the War (Turkish) National Independence and Revolutions. e-to show his relations with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and other directors. In this research the autobiographies of the people and books about their memories, important history books, newspapers and magazines of that age were used. In this research Rauf Orbay's life and activities were examined in four main parts. First Part; 1 lis activities between his birth and the first world war, Second Part; His life and activities during the first world war, Third Part; His life and activities during our National" war, FourfPart; His activities after our National war till his death. In this reseach, Rauf Orbay's school life, his missions for the government, his aim in National war, how he took part in this struggle and his role, his relations with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and their different point of views were explained. RauT'Orbay's life and their activities were given in chronological order and the important events of his age were told, in brief. Rauf Orbay's own ideas were mentioned were given in order to give the readers, chance to evaluate. IV
