On reduced modules and rings

In this thesis, reduced rings and modules, Baer and quasi Baer rings and modules, a-reduced modules were studied. The thesis consists of four sections basically. In the first chapter, introduction is given. In the second chapter, we give some definitions and properties on rings and modules that will be used in the following chapters. In the third chapter, some definitions and some properties on reduced and semicommutative modules, were examined. Later, some theorems and results on Baer rings and modules, were presented. Moreover the relationships between Baer ring and modules with the others rings and modules types, were examined. In the forth chapter, definition of alpha-reduced modules and alpha-Armendariz modules was given and relationships between them were examined.
