Abstract (EN)

In this study; velvet mites (Thromboidioidea), collected along the west and south-west direction of the Dumanlı Forest, starting from the immediate vicinity of the Refahiye district center and their ecological requirements were examined. In this context; a total of 16 fieldwork carried out between May and November, samples were taken from localities of different characteristics, and mites are extracted from soil in a laboratory environment by Berlese funnel. Habitats and ecological requirements of these species have been demonstrated by using specific habitat parameters. These data were compared with the different genera and species we obtained. As a result, 19 species belonging to five families were obtained. The larvae of Johnstoniana errans (Johnston, 1852) and Trombidium mediterraneum (Berlese, 1910) were given from our country for the first time and the others are newly collected from this area.
