AbstarctThe main purpose of the education is to bring up people who are physically and spiritually in good health. While we are donating our children with the ability of solving the problems that they can face in real life, the guidance counsellors who embrace the masses as models should always be in good health both physically and spiritually. The guidance counsellors who help an individual to know himself, to help to distinguish himself from others and to develop his skills, have empathic tendencies in their relations with the teachers and students. And this causes more exhaustion. The exhaustion is widely seen in the professions whose occupations are mostly with people. Guidance Counsellors are also in those professions.Exhaustion is defined as the main problem of social services. Emotional demands, expectations which don?t come true in business life, conflicts which are uncontrollable, bureaucratic demands and irregular balances lead to the exhaustion in people who work in social fields. The indications of exhaustions are; emotional exhaustion, the positive attitudes and intentions which are lost in personal successes.
