Abstract (EN)
Mixed e-marketplaces are formed when e-marketplaces, with the power they hold, become involved in the role of competitors to their own marketplace as product sellers and/or service providers over time. These mixed E-marketplaces may also perform the act of self-preferencing by prioritizing their own products and/or services. For this reason, the questions of whether the act of self-preferencing is a 'problem' that should be prohibited at first glance or a 'concern' that should be examined within the framework of certain rules are examined within the scope of both the E-commerce legislation and the regulations of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition. Thus, this study aims to address how and to what extent the problem of self-pereferencing is an action that should be examined.
