Abstract (EN)

The current study aims to evaluate the impact of Insulin resistance and the interaction between E2, steroid hormones, and various chemical tests in patients at risk for breast cancer, as well as to compare these findings with those of healthy subjects serving as controls. There will be 130 patients (The patients group included 65 women with breast cancer and the control group included 65 women without breast cancer) who matched for age, gender, and body mass index with have varying degrees of disease activity. Patients with breast cancer have their E2 levels, testosterone levels, RBS levels, insulin resistance levels, and other biochemical markers were evaluated. The current study results show that hyperinsulinemia with insulin resistance is an important risk factor for breast cancer, independent of overall adiposity or body fat distribution.
