For this purpose, 20 sedentary men aged 20-25 years participated in the study. The participants were divided into two groups as experimental and control group. Respiratory muscle stretching exercise was applied to the participants for a total of 4 weeks. Heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation were measured as circulatory parameters before and after four weeks of stretching exercise. SPSS 22.0 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, Illinois, USA) program was used for statistical processing of the data. Values were presented as minimum, maximum, mean, standard deviation. Significance level was accepted as p<0.05. Kolmogrov-Smirnov test was performed for normality testing. Paired Samples t-test was used for within-group analysis and Independent Samples t-test was used for between-group analysis. It was determined that respiratory stretching exercise applied to the experimental group showed a significant difference only in the blood pressure parameter acutely (p<0.05). No significant difference was found in heart rate and oxygen saturation parameters (p>0.05). No significant difference was found in the blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation parameters of the experimental group and in the blood pressure and heart rate parameters of the control group (p>0.05). In within-group chronic effect, a significant difference was found only in the oxygen saturation parameter of the control group (p<0.05). In the chronic effect between the groups, there was no significant difference in heart rate and oxygen saturation parameters between the experimental and control groups (p>0.05). In the blood pressure parameter, a significant difference was found in favor of the experimental group (p<0.05). As a result, it can be said that respiratory muscle stretching exercise has an acute effect on circulatory parameters. Keywords: Respiration, stretching, heartr.
