Abstract (EN)

In restoration applications carried out to preserve historical buildings for many years, it is desirable to intervene in the building at a minimum level. Care is taken to ensure that the material to be used in the repair is compatible with the original material of the structure. Mostly, faulty applications cause irreversible damage. In order to prevent such problems, it is necessary to know the properties of original building materials and to use repair materials that are physically, mechanically and aesthetically compatible with these materials. In this thesis, four series of mortar specimens have been produced that can be used in restoration applications of historical buildings. In the first series, production has been made with three kinds of ready-made repair mortars used in repair and restoration applications. In the other three series, on the other hand, khorasan mortars have been produced with hydraulic lime, lime putty and hydraulic lime + lime putty. In order to utilize the waste marble powder and fly ash, binders have been replaced by fly ash in 10%, 20% and 30% percentages, and aggregates have been replaced by marble powder in the same percentages by volume. Physical and mechanical experiments have been performed on the produced mortars and the results have been compared.
