Research of 15 July political crisis based on retorical arena model

The overall aim of this study is to examine the July 15 coup attempt in the context of crisis communication. There are various theories about crisis communication in the literature. Rhetorical arena theory, on the other hand, proposes a polyphonic approach to crisis communication. In this study, the crisis communication process carried out on July 15 is examined in the context of rhetorical arena theory based on polyphonic approach. The crisis situation discussed in the study is examined through 3 main processes (pre-crisis, crisis period, post-crisis) and each process is handled and evaluated within the context of milestone events.
