Abstract (EN)

Globally, many people have to live with the neurological diseases such as migraine, epilepsy that reduces their life qualities. Further, illnesses, such as paralysis, deafness, incontinence, stroke and snore; make them live uncomfortably through their life. Chemical pills treat those illnesses at a percent of %20. Treatments with neuromodulator, which has %70 successful treatment rate, is much more effective than the treatments with chemical drugs. Today, neuromodulators can be implanted under skin with the surgery operations. The power needed, is supplied from batteries, which needs surgery to place them under skin. When a battery consumed away, it is replaced with another surgery. The life quality of people is decreased. In order to solve problem mentioned above, neuromodulator design must be improved. In this thesis, electronic circuits which are used in neuromodulators have been designed. Firstly, the transmitter and receiver circuits of an AM neuromodulator with a frequency of 13.56 MHz, have been designed. Alternatively a RF module with the frequency modulator is also used. The stimulation pulses are applied to tissue like solution, in order that their performances are tested. In experiments for tissue stimulation, digital RF module at 2.4 GHz signal and a novel design analogue transmitter and receiver prototype circuit whose carrier is at 13.56 MHz, which is generated by crystal oscillator part, and whose modulation type is OOK (On/Off Shift Keying). Consequently; the novel analogue circuit is found better.
