Abstract (EN)

Every activity in our daily life involves a risk. During the day, most people may experience various risks. In order to minimize risks and their negative consequences, risk analysis is needed. Risk analysis indicates some alternatives to reduce the unfavorable outcomes. Nowadays the technology is developing day by day so that we need risk analysis more than ever. Risk analysis helps people to figure out the accidents or incidents reasons and to do that; firstly indentifies threats after estimates risks than find some ways to manage it.As in other industries, aviation industry faces a lot of risk. The increasing growth and the development of the aviation sector, needs further more security.In this research, risk analysis, risk management steps and operational risk analysis are defined. Some of the articles; related to risk analysis are also examined. In statistical analysis phase, last ten years of airplane accident data has been used and with respect to given data which type of the weather factor causes accidents has been observed.Key words: Risk, Risk analysis, Risk management, Aviation industry, Aviation risk
