Abstract (EN)
In this study, we aimed to investigate of antibiotic resistance profiles and beta-lactamase genes of Klebsiella strains collected from Rize State Hospital and Recep Tayyip Erdogan Education and Research Hospital. 121 Klebsiella pneumoniae strains were isolated from 121 patients in these hospitals from 2011 to 2013. After DNA isolation from the samples, beta-lactamase genes were detected by PCR in our laboratuary. The PCR products were cloned in pGEM-T and the recombinant plasmids were sequenced by Macrogen Inc. As a results of antibiogram studies, we showed that the samples were resistant to ampicilline, but sensitive to meropenem and imipenem. We detected blaSHV, blaTEM, blaCTX-M1, blaCTX-M2, blaOXA-23 and blaOXA-51 in 42, 19, 9, 2, 25 and 10 respectively blaIMP, blaOXA-48, blaOXA-58, blaPER-2, blaGES, blaVIM, blaVEB, and blaNDM-1 were not detected
